Travel Insurance Reviews for International Medical Group

We have purchased plans with IMG many times with only one claim. However, that claim was high dollar when Vantage Deluxe World Travel went bankrupt. IMG settled that claim for the entire insured amount as soon as the case wound its way through the court system.
We just completed an insured safari trip to Africa with no incidents. Hopefully we can stay in that category for some time to come.

Didn't make claim but coverage was what I needed for the 3 week trip.

Thankfully I didn't have to use the insurance but it was good to know i had the coverage if i did and the cost was affordable for it. Thank you!

IMG has become the go-to carrier for us. No claims this time, but have filed one in the past. It was handled without problems, timely and efficiently.

Gratefully did not have any issues, so never filed a claim. Especially wanted the Medical Coverage because of foreign destination. Can not give any info on how IMG would have handled a claim, as we did not have one.

We didn't need to use our plan this time but we almost did when we got delayed in Tampa and missed our connection in Charlotte for our flight to Munich. Instead of having to stay overnight in Charlotte, we were able to catch a flight to London that evening connecting to a Munich flight the next day. We did get in about 6 hours later than expected but incurred no extra costs so a claim was not necessary. However, it was piece of mind for us that it would have been covered.

While we didn't use the coverage it provided piece of mind.

Luckily didnt have to use this insurance for vacation. Have used Itravelinsured SE plan in our last several vacations. Would like to see a discount for future plans since we have not submitted a claim for years.
