I purchased the Travelex plan after contacting an insure my trip agent who recommended this plan based on my travel to Mexico. I did not need to use the insurance as it did give a reasonable amount of coverage for a decent price. My only complaint which others have stated in previous reviews it that there APP does not work so you can not easily access your plan details and when you contact Travelex agents they can not solve the problem.

Really easy to obtain the policy even shortly prior to my trip. Thankfully, I did not need to use it. But I felt much better knowing I had the policy to back me up had it been necessary.

This plan was better than the cruise line vacation plan. Since I had purchased a plan from Travelex for a previous trip, I had the peace of mind knowing that should something go awry during this “new normal,” I would be covered for the trip. Highly recommend using insuremytrip for cost comparison in selecting the right plan for you. For this trip, it was Travelex for me.

I think given the current Covid pandemic the quarantine section of the policy was not clear from a coverage standpoint. We were vaccinated well before our trip and took every precaution to remain safe but that section was not clear. Other than that it was a very good policy.

I just filed a claim and have not heard whether my claim will be approved as of yet.
Update:
It took awhile but I believe the delay was partially due to the pandemic. My claim was
processed and I received compensation for extra expenses incurred due to our trip delay.
I am totally satisfied and would recommend this to anyone wanting to purchase travel insurance.

Upon reviewing the certificate, you will find that quarantine is a named peril for trip cancellation, trip interruption, and travel delay coverages if ordered by a treating physician.
