As it turned out, this trip was cancelled again due to the Mexican government not allowing dive ships into the area. I contacted customer service, and after providing documentation, they are allowing me to use this policy for a future trip. (I have to book the trip by the end of the year.)
I thought it was very nice of them to allow that, since the trip had been cancelled and the dates moved once already. I would use this company in the future to insure my trips!

I didn’t have to use the insurance so I really didn’t know how to answer the survey or if I was completely satisfied with it. This was my first cruise and my son had me to get the coverage. I didn’t have to file a claim to know if I was completely satisfied with it. But I know it is good to have.

My travel dates were Dec 1 leave RDU, Dec 8 return to RDU from Cun, I purchased insurance for my round trip travel dates. I was bitten by an insect early in my vacation that changed from itchy, and nothing to worry about, to on the last day, a very painful red swollen calf that now made it difficult to walk .On the last day, while I was about to leave Mexico to go home, I brought up the app on my phone to see what my insurance could do for me. The app said my insurance is no longer in effect. These are not my opinions or my feelings, I am just giving you feedback.

Apparently you did not actually file a claim with Crum and Forster Travel Insured. We did check our records and can confirm that your return date is shown as 12/08/2018. You may still be able to submit a claim if you visited a doctor for treatment during your trip. We suggest that you call the claims department at (800) 243-2440 for assistance in reporting your claim.

I did not have to file a claim on this trip. However I did file a claim with this company on a previous trip and it was handled easily and quickly. I had great confidence that if I needed to use the plan again I would get great customer service!

We were unable to take our family trip to Mexico as my daughter-in-law became pregnant and was unable to go because of the Zeka virus and other issues. We found this out in April and notified the company well before the trip in July. We were able to get part of our money back from our rental and had not booked airfare. I filed for the $400 that were still lost. I provided all the paperwork requested, however, my daughter-in-law's doctor elected to write a letter and offer his phone number, rather than fill out the insurance companies form. Despite this fact, the insurance company will not refund the money because the doctor has not filled out their form, a factor not within our control and not uncommon.
