Travel Insurance Reviews for Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection

Fortunately I didn't need to use it, but 2 of our trip companions didn't get to join the tour due to a combination of a cancelled flight causing a missed flight, then the destination country not including them on the list of people allowed to enter the country despite their getting another Covid test and filing all the necessary forms. They never were told why they weren't on the list. They spent 5 days trying to join the trip, and ultimately had to rebook flights to go home. Not sure if this insurance would have covered that had it happened to me. Would it?

I requested evidence that we had COVID coverage. The agent I talked with assured me we did and immediately sent me a cover letter stating that. The agent was very helpful.

Did not have to use the plan, I had peace of mind having it.
Could not comment on if the coverage worked since I did not have a claim.

Price was fair. Just glad I didn’t have to use it.

Purchased Right After plane tickets and hotel stay. Grateful to have it when travel restrictions got worse during the time I was traveling. Thank you for affordable insurance.

While I did not need to use the coverage, I appreciated having the thorough coverage offered by B-H especially given the many unpredictable factors such as Covid, weather, cancellations and potential delays.

It is always good in this day and age to have something to fall back on during any trip planned. I did not need to use the insurance but I am glad it was there if needed.
