Spent considerable time comparing carrier plans and benefit levels and this came out on top. I called customer service a couple times too with some mundane policy questions and they were very helpful.

Did not use it but glad I had it.

Comments based on the perceived value since no claim was required.

I felt secure knowing that if a serious illness occurred on my trip I would be able to access medical care.

Other than for helping me sleep better, I never needed it. It was, however, much more affordable than the other plans I considered.

I appreciated getting the reminder and insurance cards prior to my trip. They were helpful and I felt prepared for any adversity during my trip.

I tried to ask a question in the first couple days of buying my policy (allowable cancel period) but never received a response.

Did not need the coverage so not sure how to rate the coverage.

We had booked the same trip last year, but my husband had kidney problems. We had to cancel the trip, and John Hancock paid immediately. Such a relief not to hassle with trip insurance when going through medical issues. This year it was wonderful to know if we needed the help it would be there. Thank you!
