Fortunately, we didn't have to use any of your services. We almost did when they closed all the streets in Manhattan due to the bombs, then we would have missed our flight. But we left few hours before it all happened.

It's difficult to rate an insurance plan if you did not need to file a claim. I am thankful for that. I assume that this policy would have been adequate, had I needed to file a claim and that everything would have been handled appropriately.

I thought we might have to cancel our trip and when I called to discuss this, your rep was almost hostile by the thought that I might file a claim. Would not help me with details of coverage and would only email me claim form

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
This was my first experience purchasing trip insurance and they made it a breeze. I had to call and speak with a representative who thoroughly explained everything to me. She then emailed me my options so that I could do further research. I was able to purchase a plan that worked best for me. I did end up filing a claim with John Hancock Insurance, and they walked me through everything step by step. It took a bit to get the claim resolved, but it was not outside of the time frame they had given me. I highly recommend this company!

I have found it is a good idea to insure trips. Even though I didn't have to file a claim, I had peace of mind knowing that if I needed to I could. Buying the insurance was easy. The reps at insuremytrip are very knowledgeable and helped me choose the plan that fit my needs. I highly recommend insuremytrip.

The dissatisfaction is the time cutoff for cancel for any reason. 48 hours beforehand. Would like to have the option to have until the time of flight. That's the main reason we got the insurance.
