Travel Insurance Reviews for Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection

Fortunately, I did not need to file a claim, but I'm glad I had the coverage.

I'm glad I didn't have to make a claim, but it was reassuring that I had a travel protection policy that met my needs, just in case.

It’s kind of bogus to do a survey on a company that I didn’t have to put in a claim. Therefore, I don’t know their customer service and what they’re really like.

My daughter and I truly needed this extra protection during this long Civil rights tour. We need a vacation from that vacation. So glad we decided to buy Berkshire Hathaway.

So much distrust with this type of insurance. I was hopeful at best that you would even cover what we thought might be a claim that should be covered. And I don't think it was clear enough what exactly would be covered when purchasing or even after reading the policy. I just wanted to be covered if me or my kid got sick the night before the trip.

The travel insurance was good to have but didn't have to use it because there were no issues.
Trip went on as planned.

It is difficult to tell if we are satisfied with the plan when we didn't have to use it. But we are grateful we didn't have to use it. :-) I do wish for domestic travel there were policies that did not include all the medical and only covered those things we needed to cover such as unrefundable deposits and required pre-pay costs that were lost.

I purchased the insurance before my trip. I had no problems and did not have to use it but as the saying goes better safe than sorry.

Was actually more coverage than we needed.
