Travel Insurance Reviews for International Medical Group

I can't really review this plan, as I didn't need to use it, thankfully, but we thought it was the best value for what we were looking for.

We didn't need to file a claim, but it gave us peace of mind.

My trip consisted of two segments, one where we travelled on our own and then when we started an organized two week tour. I bought this plan to cover my personal self directed travel, and in conjunction with a separate insurance plan to cover the tour offered by the tour operator at a very good price. I always buy my trip insurance through Insuremytrip as you never know when you will need it. Then you hope you are actually covered and or reimbursed without a huge hassle. The only time I actually filed a claim, the process was so bad I dropped my claim. On the trip that I am reviewing, I did not file a claim and so I have no idea whether the International Medical Group iTravelInsured SE plan was good or not. But I had the peace of mind knowing that hopefully I was covered.

We always use this company when we travel. Excellent coverage and peace of mind allow for a worry free journey.

It’s really hard to say just how good this coverage was since we had no reason to file a claim! The true test is when you need help.

I reduced the amount of coverage by $775 a week before the departure and thought the premium should be reduced--and was told that had to be done closer to the time of coverage--but, life sometimes happens a week before the departure--and changed my trip by 3 days-- it was a disappointing 'rule'

We always take trip insurance when we travel. Takes a level of stress off. You can never know what could happen before or during a trip.

We didn't use any coverage, so can't give any review on policy service. I liked the InsureMyTrip user interface -- it told me what I needed to know about coverages and allowed me to compare policies easily, including reviews from people who had had cause to use their coverage. And it gave me some confidence that the companies had been vetted.

Difficult to fully review this policy, since, fortunately I did not need to file a claim.

It is always better to be safe than sorry. I would not consider traveling without an insurance plan. So glad I didn't need to file a claim. My trip was fabulous and incident free.
