Overall I find trip insurance expensive as I suspect the number of claims greater than the cost of coverage is minimal. I chose AXA as it was was less expensive than most and had mostly good reviews.

I am 81 and my traveling companion is 85. I insure my trips to have coverage in the event that unforeseen medical issues arise and require cancellation or other interventions. It gives me great peace of mind. The plans can be as comprehensive as needed, and allows the buyer to purchase coverage levels that fit their budget. It is nice to know that the insurance is there if I need it. I am actually happy that I don't have to use it, as that means we made it through the trip.

I had total peace of mind when I purchased this travel plan. Being on a Medicare Advantage plan, I have no coverage for overseas medical needs. Your insurance options give world travelers many plans to choose from to fit one's travel needs and budget!
