I found Travelex to be very responsive. I explained what happened and I had to file multiple claims to cover the costs. The format was very straight forward and simple. I had the check in 15 days from filing the claim. The only negative was their third party Global Assist. They were not very helpful. They told me I had to find my own doctor! They are suppose to provide a list of doctors. Fortunately we were on a tour and the tour director was very helpful in getting me a doctor to see. I already have taken another policy with Travelex for the trip we booked for next year.

Travelex Travel Select
We had to cancel a trip due to health reasons and, much to my relief, Travelex paid the claim promptly. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was helpful and I have always had good experiences with them in the past. However, I had never filed a claim before, and I was a little concerned that the insurance company would look for small, nit-picky reasons not to pay the claim, and/or create onerous administrative processes. That was not the case here -- I filed the paperwork and had a check in my mailbox about 2 weeks later. I'm rating them at 4-stars for claim processing instead of the top mark of 5-stars only because they made an error in calculating the claim amount, which required a few phone calls to fix -- though again to their credit, they promptly sent a second check for the remaining amount. The claims process would benefit from some modernization, as well -- I had to send hard copy forms in by fax or mail, when it would have been easier just to file the claim online and upload my documentation.
