it took over a year and several submission of the claim and several rejections before they decide to pay the claim.. you can never speak to someone on the claim department.... I will NEVER buy this insurance again or recommend to anyone.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
We have used the GeoBlue Voyager Choice for trips for the past several years. A couple of trips ago, our son was ill and had to visit the emergency room at a hospital. We received a couple of different bills from the hospital, and I filed claims for those bills. One was reimbursed in a couple of weeks. The second was misprocessed, but I re-filed it with clarifications and it was also reimbursed a couple of weeks later. Bottom line is that when we need to file claims, GeoBlue did indeed process and reimburse us.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
GeoBlue is an outstanding company. I had several claims. My health insurance carrier in the USA could learn a thing or two from GeoBlue. GeoBlue's customer service is absolutely one of the best I have ever experienced. GeoBlue answered their phone promptly. Their customer service representatives are superb. They interacted with hospitals seamlessly. I was amazed by the everything that GeoBlue covered. While I have limited experience with other companies, but given my experience with GeoBlue, they have earned a customer for life. Do yourself a favor and seriously consider Geo-Blue.

My wife encountered a scuba accident while in Thailand and things worked out well in the end through insurance. GeoBlue was timely and collaborated with the hospital.

Took a cruise and wanted medical insurance and emergency evacuation. This plan was perfect and had great coverage. There are numerous options for amount of medical coverage and deductible. The one thing to note is that you must have primary insurance coverage for this plan.

I had to go to the doctor while on the cruise, and was pleased that GeoBlue covered the entire expense without any issue. The cruise ship provided an itemized receipt and I provided that as an exhibit in my claim. You do need to do a good job with your paperwork and filling out the claim form. From claim to check was about a month.

The plan paid as promised for ambulance and hospital expenses in Frankfurt, Germany, and well within 30 days of the submission of claims. My only complaint is that the website really doesn't show claims in process as it purports to do. As a result, I made a phone call and was told that it often takes a week or more for an online claims status. In our case, the medical bills were paid before that happened. All in all, we were very well satisfied.

I had to return from a trip to Morocco because illness prevented me from keeping up with the group. I received $500 for trip interruption but nothing for my airfares home because I was able to fly commercially. This plan would have only covered a true medical evacuation - so it only covers the most dire of medical situations. I wish I had talked with an agent in detail before I bought the plan so I had completely understood. I am about $400 ahead in what I spent on the insurance but of course lost the price of the trip and the travel home was very, very expensive. I am much wiser now.

The afternoon before our trip my husband suffered a chemical burn in his right eye. He went to emergency an ophthalmologist checked him and after he took care of his eye the doctor recommended not to cancel the trip but to see an ophthalmologist as soon we get to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I called this insurance and they immediately located the hospital in Buenos Aires. They send me a letter that I printed it to present at the hospital upon our arrival. After we got to Buenos Aires our first sightseeing was Hospital Aleman one of the best hospitals in the city. We were taken care by a wonderful ophthalmologist, she changed the medication that my husband was given in USA in forty 48 hours my husband improved so much that he couldn't believe it. He continued using the drops and an ointment for the next two weeks. We were traveling all over Argentina, from Buenos Aires to Bariloche in the Andes, then Cariló by the Atlantic Ocean and from there to Federación, Entre Ríos to beautiful hot springs. We were able to do this trip with peace of mind knowing that if we needed help it was a phone call away. We will never leave the country without this insurance it is worth every single penny that we paid for it. Buy it with confidence. The customer service is cordial and well manner and they understood our situation. Thank you!!

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
While no one wants to seek medical treatment in a foreign country, GeoBlue came through in Canada for a doctor's office visit during our recent vacation. The local clinic worked out a direct billing arrangement and all is good. The personnel at GeoBlue were a pleasure to work with.
