No claim filed. In researching with BBB, this plan seemed to have less complaints at a lower cost than some other plans. All plans seem over priced, never sure its really worth it as have never filed a claim. Be sure to closely read all the fine print on any plan before you buy.

The good thing about your plan is I never had to use it or file a claim. You don't really know the value of travel insurance until you have to use it and see how the company treats you then.

I'd like to thank fellow travelers who shared their comments which assisted with my purchase. I spent a ridiculous amount of time choosing the policy for my Daughter and I, a policy we never needed to use, but each time I nearly fell on uneven sidewalks in Vietnam, or missed a step at a temple in Thailand, or thought this elephant just has to make one false move...The insurance allowed me to be free to say yes to the experience. I did agonize over what seemed like so many choices, contacted the extremely patient and knowledgeable Insure My Trip Representatives several times, and finally decided upon Travelex Select. My Employer reportedly covers me anywhere in the world, however what I believe is that with any insurance, I would be responsible to pay up front for medical needs or evacuation then be reimbursed after the fact. I spent a lot of time exploring the "cancel for any reason" then decided not to get this as there seemed to be a lot of headaches associated with this option. As advised, I made a hard copy of the policy, kept the important #'s with us at all times, and had a blast!
