Fortunately, no medical emergency occurred. Fair cost for coverage; very comfortable back up for emergencies.

All plans are secondary insurance, meaning that in the event of claim they look to your primary coverage first. In the case of medicare supplemental there is a 50k lifetime cap. If that is ever depleted I'll have to dig more deep into the details

I would recommend HTH and will use them again for my next trip. I did not have to file a claim so I can not comment on that process, but having the assurance of compete medical coverage helped me to relax and enjoy my trip. The representative that took my initial call was pleasant and extremely helpful in finding the plan that best met my needs.

Fortunately I did not need it and it is hard to comment unless I did. It gave me peace of mind to have it.

I had piece of mind knowing that I had coverage for me and my husband in case we needed it.

Sorry, I was unable to go on the trip due to hospitalization of a fellow traveler, but it was too late to get a refund prior to trip date. Would have been better to let one cancel up to trip date with only an administrative cost before a partial refund, or maybe a discount on our next use of coverages. I was glad to see several vendors to compare coverages prior to purchase.

Thank goodness did not have claim. Happy for peace of mind the policy provided.

Terms and conditions offered me a number of options from which to choose.

Almost used it cause I was in Puerto Rico when tropical storm Issac came on land..but was able to fly out. Did feel glad I had this coverage just in case.
