Good insurance plan at a good price. I did not need to file a claim, so my assumption is that it is a good plan. One never really knows how good a policy is unless a claim needs to be filed.

The plan seemed reasonable but since I had no issues with the travel and didn't need to file a claim, I can't comment on the value of the policy other than to say it was easy to purchase and I felt it gave the coverage I needed.

One of the main reasons I insured my trip was because I was traveling to the southwest during hurricane season. After I purchased the insurance, I read in the small print that it does not cover acts of God. Hurricanes probably fall under acts of God, so I’m glad I didn’t have to make a claim.

We bought this for our trip to Florida in case of hurricanes, it supposedly covers "named hurricanes". Sure enough, Helene came and we had to leave. That's when we found out the fine print - this policy only covers mandatory evacuations or if your residence is "uninhabitable". So even though we were in Panama City Beach with a hurricane warning, and the governor telling everyone to leave, because there was no mandatory evacuation and because it never destroyed the condo, we couldn't get our money back. We lost 4 nights of our 6 night vacation and this policy was a complete and total waste of money.

Thank you for insuring my trip. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay but 3 days. We had to leave Wednesday morning because of hurricane Helene. Evacuation started above us in Fort Myers so we wanted to get as far up as possible because Helene came ashore.

Since we did not need to use the policy, I have no idea if I would be satisfied with the coverage. However, having used an insurance policy in the past, for trip delay, I highly recommend purchasing a policy, and reviewing all of the clauses of what is covered and what is not.
