Yes I would recommend, however we did not use it so I cannot attest to the coverage. Clark Howard a local Georgia economist recommended this company so we used them. Price seemed reasonable to us.

I bought a policy with Nationwide for my trip within the United States. The trip went smoothly until we started home. Our connecting flight out of Dallas was canceled due to a hurricane affecting Florida airports. My husband and I had to stay in Dallas for two nights. The agent I spoke to on the phone about making a claim was helpful. I sent receipts and verification via email and they always acknowledged receipt. They quickly let me know what else they needed, and about three weeks later I received a check for my delay costs. I would recommend this company.

Have purchased this particular policy several times for piece of mind. Did not need to file a claim but had to in the past and was very satisfied how Nationwide treated me. This will always be my go to travel policy for future trips.

I had gotten this policy since our rental provided no refunds. But when my husband was laid off several months before our trip, I discovered that the policy only covered being laid off from your job if you had been employed at the company continuously for 3 years. Unfortunately, my husband had been a contractor for 3 months before he was hired at the company full time making his employment 3 months short of this requirement, so this policy was a waste of money.
