Clark Howard recommends you insure your major trips, and this trip was certainly in that category. Other travel insurance companies were significantly more expensive, and we were happy to find Generali. These things are expensive, but so was the trip, and therefore, we felt it was a good purchase. Good customer service the day we called to purchase. Good "What to do if you need us" kind of follow up by company prior to our trip so we were well prepared before we left if we needed them. We are grateful the trip went as planned and we didn't need to call! Recommended.

Fortunately, I didn't need to use the plan's benefits so I don't know how efficient the claims process would be.

As hoped, we had no need to use the plan! However, customer service prior to the trip was amazing! My questions were answered quickly and accurately. Even when I made a mistake filling out the form, that mistake was corrected effortlessly within 24 hours! Will definitely keep this company's name and will share with anyone I know who is needing trip insurance!!

It is unclear to me why travel insurance has to be so expensive. It would be helpful for you to explain this on your website

Have used Generali Global Assistance Standard (formerly CSA) on all trips during the past 5 years and always recommend them to friends. On one trip we were delayed and filing a claim was easy.

Felt at ease on the trip knowing we were covered. Cannot review the insurance since all went well and we had no issues or claims. Peace of mind is what I purchased.

It’s difficult to review an insurance plan’s value if you have not needed to actually use it! However, thankful that i did not use the insurance but would not consider planning a trip without it.
