Thank goodness I did not have to file a claim, but it was comforting to know that I had protection I needed on my 10-day vacation. The coverage was priced similarly to what the cruise carrier offered, but FlexiPAX also covered may post trip travel and the round-trip air - should I have needed it.

Prices have increased since my last trip, but it reflected the coverage we needed for the parameters of the itinerary.

Didn't have to use so don't know how good it is.

Fortunately, did not need to file a claim this time. We have in the past and everything went through quickly with no issues. Will never take a cruise without travel insurance.

I bought the insurance prior to a trip to Canada. On the day of the trip, my husband had severe gastroenteritis, and was unable to travel. I called the insurance to check on coverage, I was told there would be no reimbursement for airfare if the airline offered any voucher for further travel. The airline did offer a voucher for travel to be completed within a 10 month period. We have no plans for immediate travel. However, that voids any reimbursement from the insurance I purchased. It wasn't worth the coverage in my experience.

The best part of this plan is the fact it is not one size fits all. The options allow you to purchase the coverage you need and not pay for what you don't need. I wish there was more of that going around.
