This plan gave us peace of mind at a great rate.

It is hard to write a review for a plan I, thankfully, did not have to use. All insurance seems pricey for the amount of times you actually have to use it, but this was reasonable compared to other plans.

The single largest disappoint I have with the plan is the lack of ability to extend the coverage period while on a trip. Business trips are not always predictable and schedules have to be modified to accommodate the need of business. When my trip duration required my presence for an additional two week I desired to extend the original duration of coverage by an additional two week. The inquiries mad through your website could on off an extension of health cover and not an extension of the full AXA Assistance USA Platinum plan. This was unsatisfactory and in the future i will seek and use other plans that allow an extension of the plan to be made during the trip.

I already recommended your program to a friend. I appreciated the choices and I felt the AXA Gold would cover what I need is something happened to my family at home while I was abroad as well as help us out in any stressful situations.

We did not file a claim. We did, however, need to change the departure date. It was quite a surprise when the form came back and stated our destination was Afghanistan rather than Germany! Evidently they forget to change the country in a drop down menu on the AXA computer. A call in Insure My Trip fixed that immediately.

Did not need to use, however, Peace of mind was really important!

I'm glad I purchased it, even though I don't think I will need to file a claim. I became ill while in Berlin and required being seen and treated in an Emergency Clinic there. The cost was so reasonable (compared to The United States' medical care) that I simply paid it happily. I did need to return home early, but the airlines worked with me to exchange my flight reservations without additional cost and the remainder of the hotels in the other cities have graciously begun to process my refunds. Had these not been the cases, I would have needed the medical coverage I chose and the trip Interruption/cancellation which was included in my policy. Gratefully, I'm fine without it.

We didn't have a claim this time. However, we purchased a similar policy about a year ago. That time we did have a minor claim, and they settled it very effectively.

Fortunately I did not need to make a claim on this plan, but I was confident it would be there if it had been needed. I felt the cost was reasonable, too. Will use you for future trips.
