I have purchased trip insurance for years, but have never had to submit a claim -- until now. I was worried about the process and getting my money back. Even though my flight was delayed hours in ATL, I was on one of the last flights out before the fire at the airport on December 17. I made it to the cruise ship as they were doing the safety drill...minutes before leaving port. All this and I kept reminding myself I was insured. No matter if I made it to the ship in time, I would not have to pay for a cruise that might not happen. There were several people onboard who had unexpected medical issues (asthma attack, a fall, etc.). Knowing these incidents would also be covered gave me peace of mind. I told everyone I met about Insuremytrip.com. In all the years I have been buying trip insurance, thankfully I have only had to use it once. I will never go without.
