This will not only provide higher medical coverage but the limits on baggage loss, baggage delay, trip delay and medical evacuation will be increased as well. I have always purchased travel insurance, however this was the first time I actually had to use it. Travelex provided me the best plan for an affordable price, and covered my claim fully. I would recommend this company without reservation!

Was a total waste of money. Was in Asia for a month and the cost to visit a state of the art hospital in Thailand was under $25.00 including the prescription for a UTI, one of my friends had to go so I know. My travel plan cost me $116.00 for 30 days. Best to find out what medical is like in the countries your visiting before springing for travel insurance.

The Travelex Basic policy that you purchased has multiple benefits in addition to the medical coverage, such as Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Baggage, and more. Which you were also eligible for while you were on your trip. While we are happy to hear that everything was taken care of for your trip to the hospital and that your expenses were minimal, there are many times where insured’s experience a covered event that is above and beyond what they can reasonably afford while traveling.
