Happy not to have a claim but I did have to file one a few years back, which went smoothly. It is really important to open the tabs and read more about the coverages-especially what is never covered when lost. I always use the 800 number and talk to a person- the agents are really knowledgeable about the products. They help make informed plan choices based on your trip (and don't just point you to the most expensive one). Remember to buy it soon after you arrange your trip to get the coverage, if you can, for pre-existing conditions.

We were fortunate not to have to actually use our insurance policy. It gave us such peace of mind having while on vacation knowing that we would not have to worry should something occur. The initial reason we purchased the insurance was because of the high cost of additional car insurance we had to pay during a trip to Ireland. This insurance covered so much more and was a fraction of the cost. I will be purchasing it for all future trips!

Obtaining insurance was easy and service reps were knowledgeable and helpful. As I added new costs several times since first purchasing the coverage, it was good to deal with excellent customer service representatives. Communication was also very fast in acknowledging updated coverage. Can't speak to filing a claim since none needed. Would use the company again.
