The process to submit a claim was easy, however, the process for them to review the documentation was lengthy and exceeded their SLAs. I had to perform multiple follow ups before they competed their review. However, once complete, they had no follow up questions with my claim documentarion and promptly sent a check.

We had no need to use the insurance. but the friends we traveled with did They were more than impressed with the efficiency and information provided by your claims agents. We did have to cancel a cruise in January and were covered by another carrer. It took almost two months to receive our refund. although we provided all of the required info within a few days of cancelling. I have the feeling it would not take that lonng for you to process with all verification.

I did not need to make a claim so I really can't provide a review of the claims customer service. It was as easy to purchase the policy online as it is to make any other online purchase and I thought the value for the coverage was reasonable.

I would never recommend Insuremy trip or April Insurance to anyone due to an apparent disconnect between the two of you. We had a major problem regarding payment for an additional amount for our cruise/air cost. We gave you/them several different perfectly good credit cards for the charge, but we kept getting messages that it wasn't paid for, payment wouldn't go through, etc. All cards had very high limits, nothing was wrong with any of them, and yet either you or April were incapable of completing the charge. It's all documented in my file at either your office or theirs. The incompetency became extremely irritating to us and we became seriously doubtful that we were dealing with a legitimate company. Never again. Next time will go with a direct carrier.

Because of unpredictable weather, I like to insure my alpine snow sports vacations in the event that a snowstorm hits the area and prevents me from traveling to that destination. Or alternatively, it's nice to have the Cancel For Any Reason Benefit if I do not have the energy to participate in the trip. This plan fit my cost and trip situation well.
