My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor a week before we were supposed to leave on our trip. I cancelled right away .
I filed my claim promptly.
I sent in all the paper work.
Every time I call I am told to wait 15 more days

There is a need to customize coverage. I have duplicate medical coverage, but would pay to just have "Cancel for any Reason."

I don't know how good it is because, thank goodness, I didn't have to use it! I do think I would have been happier if I had been notified before purchase what system or company the insurance company had contracted with in Morocco and where in the country I could expect to find assistance.

Fortunately I didn't have to make a claim. So I really can't judge how good a company you are without experiencing how well you would handle my claim. I chose your company based on your rating and reviews of other customers. The cost of my policy was very fair for the coverage l chose.

Fortunately, this year we didn't need to use the trip insurance. Last year we did, and AXA was most responsive.

We were very satisfied with our coverage and the quality of our AXA Assistance USA Gold plan. Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip due to a family emergency. The staff and administrators of the plan were extremely professional, helpful, and prompt in processing our claim. I will continue to recommend this plan and company to my friends and family.

I had the plan; looked good; and never used it! Good for me...but I can offer no real feedback on the plan or the company! Using the plan would have really revealed how good the coverage was and how the company would respond to a claim.

We were very satisfied with the insurance plan we purchased with AXA. Had a fabulous trip to Morocco and glad to say we didn't have to file a claim. We always get our travel insurance through InsureMyTrip.

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. AXA Assistance USA was able to transfer your policy to new travel dates because you were able to demonstrate proof that the travel supplier did not charge any cancellation penalties, and you stated in writing that you would not file claim against the original travel dates.

    The above protocol is standard among most travel insurance companies providing comprehensive coverage.
