Fortunately, we did not need to use the travel insurance we purchased, but it was worth having the peace of mind that we would be covered in the event that we did. The only thing I wish we could have included was rental car insurance - because we had to rent a 4x4 jeep on the island we visited, Jeeps were not covered under rental insurance. But aside from that - which is somewhat understandable - we had a great experience and enjoyed knowing we were covered for everything else. Would definitely purchase again the next time we go on a big trip.

Plan provided all of the coverage that I needed. The best insurance is that for which you do not need to file a claim but I was confident that I was fully covered just in case. Fortunately, my trip went smoothly without incident.

Travel insurance is too expensive for older seniors, period. Even though this policy was less expensive than many others, it still cost hundreds of dollars more than plans with similar coverage for friends who were 10 years younger. The assumption that I am less healthy just because I am older is insulting.
