The plan had excellent coverage and gave us peace of mind to relax and enjoy our trip. While on the trip, I dropped my prescription sunglasses in the surf and was unable to retrieve them. Upon return, I filed a claim. After a week I received a courteous letter response explaining that eyeglasses and sunglasses are excluded, which I was able to verify by going back through the policy.

The only measure of how good insurance is comes if you must use the benefits - and fortunately we did not need to do so. So while purchase was easy, benefits understandable, have no measure of how it would have worked if we needed it.

We did not have any need to make a claim, thankfully. We like to have the insurance for peace of mind, especially since we have witnessed injuries and illnesses of others while traveling and know that having travel insurance saves mental anguish and effort as well as saving lots of money!
