I did not file a claim. So I do not know how smoothly that process would go. It was certainly reassuring knowing I had the policy if anything did happen. I will probably always purchase this plan when traveling abroad. The piece of mind was worth it.

My husband and I are 65 years old, on Medicare, and Medicare doesn't cover international medical. We purchased the plan to cover our medical incase of a medical emergency, but fortunately we didn't have to use it.

I didn't have to use it at all for the trip. I guess it's a good thing. Purchasing process was very easy. I'll use it again for future trips.
