For something I haven't used in likely 10 different policies, I find the coverage so complete it makes for total peace of mind. I already have another policy pending for a cruise for my wife and I.
Its great to not have to put in a claim. The representatives always seem to agree on the price and policy coverage I desire. They have the clear English language and knowledge that makes the policy clearly understood. My 6 family members will likely use this company until they (if ever) go out of business.

We are lucky that we did not have any problems on our trip that we needed to file any claims. So I can’t give any reviews about service on how a claim was handled, but In cases like ours, It may be a really great incentive, if your company could give customers some type of refund or rebate to use towards a future insurance purchase. :)

I made a mistake and bought for another trip an insurance plan offered by the vendor, unfortunately had a loss. This was over 60 days ago, still no resolution .

Two big problems:
- I called twice to clarify if a family member’s illness would be a covered item. I got two completely different answers on the two calls. This directly impacted my decision whether to proceed with our trip or not, so having inconsistent responses is unacceptable.
- On my first call, when I asked if my situation would be covered, the rep said she couldn’t tell me for sure, and the only way to find out is to cancel the trip, submit the claim, and then see if the claim is approved or not. That places the insured in a horrible position of risking thousands of dollars in travel costs if the claim is ultimately not covered.

Luckily we did not have to use the insurance, but because there were certain risks that could become issues while traveling we were comforted to have "cancel for any reasons coverage"

I really have never used any ins. claim so far. However I will always use your company because it covers soooo many more incidents than what every trip plan offers. Also it is much more affordable than some of the ridiculous prices they ask.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite has the following number one covered reason to cancel or interrupt your trip:
"1. Your, Your Family Member’s, Your Traveling Companion’s, Your Traveling Companion’s Family Member, Your Business Partner’s or Your Business Partners Family Member’s death, which occurs before departure on Your Trip;"
The claims administrator is required to adjudicate claims based on the terms and conditions of the policy. Unfortunately, in no event can a claim be predetermined, as you would be required to provide Proof of Loss to determine appropriate coverage. This plan does not include a Pre-existing Conditions Waiver and in the event of a claim there would be a look back period of 60 days that applies to You or Your Traveling Companion, Business Partner or a Family Member.
