Fortunately, did not have reason to file a claim this trip…. But have used in the past and was most grateful for coverage!!! Will continue to use in the future as the world of travel is SO very uncertain !! Peace of mind is priceless :)

How can you rate insurance that you don’t have to use? You are glad you did not need it and dissatisfied with the price because you didn’t need it. Yet, if you needed it; then you are happy with the price because it helped you. There is no way for you to win in a review unless you are only seeing people who needed the insurance and were satisfied that the company fulfilled their obligation which they can only do if there are many more people like me that paid a premium and did not get any benefits.

MedEvac insurance is a really good thing to have. It's like home, auto & liability insurance. Fairly low cost and a low probability of ever needing to file a claim against it. But if you do, it's there to protect you against $10k - $50k medical bills in a foreign country and $10k - $100k+ MedEvac costs if that becomes necessary. AIG is a well known company that we've used repeatedly. We've never had to file a claim yet but as we get older it gives us peace of mind on our out of country trips.

I shopped for a reasonable plan. The representative was very helpful. We had a great trip and I was happy I didn't need this plan but also reassured that it was in place should the unexpected occur.

It's really hard to say, as, fortunately, we did not need the coverage. But it seems like it would have been adequate.

I didn't have to file a claim, so I can't speak to their claim service. However, the coverage was good for an expensive trip we took.

Unfortunately as is with most insurance plans, you don't know how good the plan is until you have a claim. I did not have a claim, and as such, I could only give a neutral rating on satisfaction and level of coverage and important items.
