Fortunately, I didn't have to use the Medjet medical evacuation plan that I purchased but I felt good knowing that it was available if needed.

As with any insurance, the best plan is to not need it! It was comforting that I had a back-up in case I did. I was happy that I did not need it. Then, of course, you second guess whether you needed to spend money on something you didn't need:) however if things had been different this would have saved my "bacon" so not a bad thing.

I have used Insuremytrip twice and have never used the insurance but I always feel confident about the plans that I have for our trips. The agents who helped me find the right policy are always very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I have recommended Insuremytrip to many friends too.

Luckily, I never had to use this. However, I was glad I had this knowing that if something was to occur, I would be covered.

We were travelling in Asia with standard travel insurance which included med evacuation to the nearest hospital they determined could handle a medical problem. No way I wanted to be in Asia with a problem. So I purchased MedJet Assist to have the peace of mind that I could return to any hospital in the US. I got one year of coverage at a very reasonable cost. Perfect.

Expensive coverage, but well worth it for the peace of mind when traveling to places far from home.

Don't have any experience with the plan, and don't want any. I just feel great that the benefits are there if we should ever need them

My daughter planned a remote trip to the deepest jungles in a foreign country that required this type of insurance. I sent an email to schedule a time to go over the policy and "CHRIS" called me right on time. It was quick, not at all expensive like I expected and he was very kind. Knowing what I learned I would purchase this insurance even for countries that do not require it. I wouldn't dream of traveling abroad without this type of coverage.
