Travel Inconvenience

We will pay You the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits if any of the following Unforeseen events occur during Your Trip:

1. the beach at Your destination is closed for twenty-four (24) hours or more by government authorities, and there are no alternate open beaches accessible to You within a five (5) mile radius.

2. the Hotel or vacation Rental Property where You are staying during Your Trip is undergoing construction or renovation, which prevents you from accessing the pool, fitness room, water park or restaurants. The construction or renovation must not have been disclosed to You at the time of booking.

3. the hotel or vacation Rental Property where You are scheduled to stay during Your Trip must be substituted by management due to insect or rodent infestation.

We will pay You for one occurrence of each Unforeseen event per Trip. The maximum limit payable between all events will not exceed the Maximum Benefit Limit shown in the Schedule of Benefits.
