CANCEL FOR ANY REASON

We will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for the unused, forfeited, prepaid non-refundable Payments or Deposits Travel Arrangements You purchased for Your Trip, when You cancel Your Trip prior to Scheduled Departure Date for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy, provided the following conditions are met:

1. You purchase the Cancel for Any Reason Benefit within the Time Sensitive Period; and

2. You cancel Your Trip no later than two (2) days prior to the Scheduled Departure Date of Your Trip.

You can only purchase this benefit at the time the base policy is purchased.

This Cancel for Any Reason Benefit does not cover the failure of the Travel Supplier to provide the bargained-for Travel Arrangements due to cessation of operations for any reason.

Special Conditions: In the event of a Cancel for Any Reason claim, You must advise the Travel Supplier and Us as soon as possible in the event of a claim or of learning of a potential need to cancel Your Trip prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date, whichever is sooner.

We will not pay benefits for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified the Travel Supplier and Us within the specified period.

These benefit(s) will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy or any coverage(s) attached to the policy.

Time Sensitive Period means insurance must be purchased within twenty (20) days of the date Your initial Payments or Deposits for Your Trip is received.
