CANCEL FOR ANY REASON COVERAGE

Can only be purchased with the base plan and within 15 days of Initial Trip Payment.

If You are prevented from taking the Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by this plan, the Company will reimburse You for up to 50% of the prepaid, Forfeited, non-refundable payments or deposits for insured Trip arrangements up to the Maximum Limit shown for this benefit in the Schedule provided the following conditions are met:

(a) You purchase this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage with the base plan and within 15 days of the date of Your Initial Trip Payment or deposit is paid and insures the cost of any subsequent arrangements added to the same Trip within 15 days of the date of payment or deposit for any subsequent Trip arrangements; and
(b) this insurance coverage is purchased for the full cost of all nonrefundable prepaid Trip arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties and/or restrictions; and
(c) You cancel the insured Trip no less than 48 hours prior to the Departure Date.

This coverage will be terminated and no benefits will be paid under this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage if the full costs of all prepaid, non-refundable Trip arrangements are not insured. Any plan cost paid for this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage will be refunded.

SPECIAL NOTIFICATION OF CLAIM
You must notify the Travel Supplier within 72 hours or no less than 48 hours prior to departure, whichever is sooner, in the event of a Trip Cancellation claim. The Company will not be liable and will not pay for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified the Travel Supplier within the specified period. If You are unable to provide cancellation notice within the required timeframe, You must provide proof of the circumstance that prevented timely notification.
